Family Guide to Mental Health

Introducing the Interviewees

Fourteen family members generously shared their experiences and ideas about family caregiving and mental health. Some are caregivers to loved ones with mental illness; others have diagnoses themselves. Sometimes they occupy both roles; and some became service providers and peer mentors to support people outside their family.

In all cases, they provide invaluable care, peer support, advocacy, and leadership. We are grateful for the time they took to share experiences and would like to thank each of them for participating in our Cafés and interviews.
